New traffic lights have been installed at the intersection of Jibek-Jolu Avenue and Budennogo Street, which are now fully updated. This was reported by the press service of the Bishkek city administration.
At the direction of the mayor of the capital, eight modern pedestrian traffic lights equipped with countdown timers have been installed here. This innovation is expected to enhance road safety for local residents and students of school No. 51 located nearby.
During the reconstruction, the old traffic lights were temporarily relocated, and the cable infrastructure was damaged. As part of the upgrade, new cables were laid, and the system was fully restored.
Currently, all pedestrian and traffic lights are functioning normally, ensuring safety on the road.
