The highlight of the evening was a performance by composer Kamchybek Jusupov, who performed songs to the poet's verses, such as "Kaidasyng den sooluktun mol bulagy" ("Where are you, pure spring of health") and "Sezim yrghaktary" ("Rhythms of feelings").
