According to the city hall, the urban planning and architecture department is working to align the streets with the new standards by removing signs that violate the architectural appearance of the city.
The dismantling covers the streets of Shakirov, Isanova, Kurmanjan Datka, and Masaliyev, where outdated and unauthorized structures are being removed from the facades of public and commercial buildings.
According to the new urban planning regulations, building owners and businesspeople are required to install uniform signs to avoid visual chaos. These requirements are outlined in the new design code of Osh, developed by the relevant authorities.
The goal of implementing the design code is to create a unified stylistic concept in the city. The document defines the appearance of facades, street infrastructure, and residential buildings, which will help eliminate visual noise and confusion in the design of shop windows, as noted in the city hall's statement.
