The main goal of the event was to conduct an ecological action, during which forty eco-feeders for birds were installed. These wooden structures, designed in a unified style, were placed along the main alleys of the park. Before installing the feeders, the rangers prepared the sites and conducted briefings to maintain the balance of the ecosystem.
Oleg Guchgeldiev, FAO representative in Kyrgyzstan, noted: "It is very important for us to involve children in this event. From an early age, they should learn to care for nature. We thank the administration of the Ala-Archa Park for their warm welcome and support of our idea."FAO plans to continue actively supporting ecological initiatives aimed at preserving biodiversity and educational projects in Kyrgyzstan. Park visitors can also contribute to this initiative: while walking, they can bring some seeds or nuts to fill the feeders. This will provide important support for the feathered inhabitants of Ala-Archa during the winter period.
