At today's meeting with the employees of the Traffic Safety Department (UOBDD) of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, the head of the Main Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azhenbek Kozukeiev, voiced serious demands to reduce the accident rate. During the meeting, Kozukeiev criticized the leaders of the districts with a high level of traffic accidents, giving them a month to eliminate the identified shortcomings. He also warned of possible strict disciplinary measures at the end of the year.
In addition, he emphasized the need to strengthen control over the licensing of taxi drivers, highlighting the unacceptability of corruption and the importance of maintaining service discipline.
Kozukeiev also noted the significance of polite treatment of citizens seeking help and instructed to intensify preventive work with drivers.
He specifically pointed out the need for cooperation with local authorities to enhance road safety in the region.
