The press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications reported that the work to eliminate the consequences of the landslide on the Bishkek – Osh highway has been successfully completed.
It has been reported that the roadway has been cleared of stones, and traffic in both directions has been fully restored. No injuries among citizens have been recorded.
According to the information, the incident occurred today at 08:00 on the Bishkek – Osh road at the 427-451 kilometer mark, where stones fell from the mountainside after rain, resulting in damage to the front of one vehicle.
Employees and special equipment from the road maintenance enterprise No. 38, belonging to the state enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol," promptly arrived at the scene.
The damaged vehicle was insured, and the insurance company will compensate for the material damage incurred.
