TASS previously reported that the attacker was linked to a "destructive movement"
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan expressed its strong condemnation of the attack based on national hatred that occurred against a 4th-grade student of the Uspenskaya Secondary School in the village of Gorki-2. This information was conveyed to the publications "Fontanka.RU".
In the incident that took place on December 16 in Gorki-2, a 15-year-old teenager attacked his classmates with a knife. As a result of his attack, a security guard and one of the students were injured, and ultimately one of the children died. Meanwhile, the attacker recorded his actions on video.
According to TASS, citing operational services, "the attacker was a supporter of a destructive youth movement," however, subsequent materials from the agency do not disclose further details regarding the motives for the act.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has initiated a criminal case regarding the facts of murder and attempted murder.
In addition, the Russian ambassador to Tajikistan, Sergey Grigoriev, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic, where he was handed a note demanding an immediate, objective, and impartial investigation, as well as holding all those responsible accountable in accordance with the law.
