The presidential New Year tree has begun in Bishkek, which took place today. This information was provided by the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the ministry's data, 490 children from all corners of the country attended the event.
The Deputy Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Albert Makhmetkulov, was present at the celebration and congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year, wishing them success in their studies and new achievements.
The children also visited the National Center for Children and Youth "Seitek" and the B. Kydykeeva Theater, where an entertainment program and a theatrical performance of "Mowgli" were prepared for them.
The main events will continue on December 19 at the T. Satylganov Philharmonic, where the country's leadership is expected to participate.
