In connection with the increase in cases of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections, the Ministries of Education and Health, as well as the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, are closely monitoring the situation regarding illness among children.
According to the instructions from the sanitary and epidemiological service, educational institutions have the right to switch to remote learning without prior approval from the Ministry of Education. However, they must notify the ministry of their actions.
As of today, 214 kindergartens in the republic are temporarily closed, and 207 schools have already transitioned to online learning.
As noted in the official statement, "additional measures have been taken in educational institutions to prevent the further spread of infections."
