In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, regular monitoring of the state of educational institutions is being conducted. This is done for a quick response to changes in the epidemiological situation, as reported by the city's mayor's office.
The municipal authorities inform that in case of a worsening situation and in accordance with the recommendations of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology (CGE), schools may be issued an order to close, which will lead to a quarantine for students.
All decisions regarding the introduction of restrictive measures are made at the local level and are under the control of the relevant services.
The mayor's office urges parents to closely monitor their children's health and not to send them to educational institutions if they show signs of ARVI or flu.
The mayor's office also noted that monitoring of the epidemiological situation in schools will continue.
