Parents expressed dissatisfaction regarding the difficulties arising during the 12-year education process. In response to these remarks, the Ministry of Education stated that the implemented curriculum aligns with the age characteristics of students.

According to the agency, educational materials are developed taking into account the psychology and physiology of elementary school children. "The teaching is organized on the principle of moving from simple to complex, starting with play activities in the 1st grade. The 2nd-grade program considers preschool preparation and fully corresponds to the level of 7-year-old children, which helps to avoid overloads," the ministry clarified.

Teachers will also be provided with opportunities for continuous professional development in accordance with the new educational model.

"Teachers undergo training at all stages: in the summer, autumn, and throughout the academic year. The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Kyrgyz Academy of Education and the Republican Institute for Advanced Training, organizes methodological support, seminars, and professional development courses. The transition to new programs will be accompanied by professional materials and instructions for educators," the statement said.

As for providing schools with qualified teachers, this falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, the agency stated.

"The Ministry of Higher Education works with universities to prepare teaching staff, increasing enrollment and improving the quality of training. This task is faced by many countries, and we are systematically addressing it. We are confident that the transition to new programs and 12-year education will be carried out with all necessary measures for the comfortable learning of children, clear understanding for teachers, and peace of mind for parents," the ministry added.

Earlier, a letter from the mother of a first-grader to the chairman of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, appeared on social media, in which she expressed concern that the educational program does not take into account the age characteristics of children.
