According to a report from the economic forecasting center of Gazprombank, by 2030, natural gas supplies from Russia to Central Asia could reach 19-20 billion cubic meters per year. This information is reported by Vedomosti.
This implies an increase of 10-11 billion cubic meters, which represents a growth of 2.1-2.2 times compared to the figures for 2024.
In particular, the following is planned:
- for Kyrgyzstan — doubling the volume from 0.5 billion to 1 billion cubic meters per year
- for Uzbekistan — an increase of 2.1 times from 5.6 billion to 12 billion cubic meters per year
- for Kazakhstan — an increase of 2-2.3 times from 3 billion to 6-7 billion cubic meters per year
