In Bishkek, at the City House of Culture "Dialogue," a competition called "Best Grandfather" and "Best Grandmother" took place. This event became an important step in preserving family values and national traditions.
The competition was organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek City Hall.
Ten participants took part in the competition: 5 grandfathers and 5 grandmothers, each demonstrating their respect for Kyrgyz traditions and their creative skills.
As part of the competition, participants presented embroidered items, folk art objects, and panels with Kyrgyz ornaments, highlighting the richness of our culture and the continuity of generations. Additionally, they performed folk songs, dances, and musical pieces on traditional instruments.
As a result of the competition, all participants were awarded medals for "Best Grandfather" and "Best Grandmother."
