At the press conference held today, Bekzhan Akmatbekov, the director of operational activities for the "Tulpar" project, reported that in Bishkek, 160 million cashless trips on public transport were recorded in 2025.

Compared to 2024, this figure has increased by approximately 45 percent.

The main factors for this growth were both the increase in the number of new buses in the city and the stable operation of the cashless payment system.

On average, 13.4 million cashless trips are made each month, which amounts to about 440,000 trips daily.

October turned out to be a record month with more than 15 million cashless trips.
Bekzhan Akmatbekov presented the statistics by year:

The "Tulpar" project started in 2020, but began operating in full capacity from August 2023.

On average, 1,027 buses operate on the routes every day.

For those who pay for their rides cashlessly, the fare is 17 soms, while for cash payments, it is 20 soms.
