It was reported that on January 12, an operation was organized in Nookat aimed at organizing the central streets and eliminating traffic jams.
The event was attended by the mayor of Nookat, Askarali Abdiabaev, the head of the district police department, Jumanzar Orozbaev, as well as representatives from the traffic safety service, road maintenance organizations, and other government structures.
As a result of all the activities, route buses that previously passed through the central streets will now depart from the bus station. An order was also issued to install metal barriers in areas where pedestrians enter the roadway and to improve control over informal trading.
In addition, explanatory work was carried out with citizens about the necessity of crossing the road only at designated pedestrian crossings.
