The press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Askhat Alagozov, reported that recently journalists have been inquiring whether an official statement will be made regarding the remarks of Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov.

According to him, such statements should be viewed as something empty and unserious, coming from the context of Solovyov's lengthy broadcasts, where he discusses various topics.

Alagozov noted that since Solovyov is a journalist, the reaction to his words should come from the professional community or individuals, rather than from the authorities.

If such statements were made by a deputy or a minister, then a response would be provided by the relevant state structures.

He also mentioned a proposal from one of the deputies to declare Solovyov a persona non grata, adding that there is an established procedure for this and it is necessary to wait for how this issue will be considered.

Furthermore, Alagozov emphasized that the current bilateral and multilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as with other Central Asian countries, are at a high level.

This is confirmed by mutual visits and cooperation within organizations such as the CIS, EAEU, and SCO.

He expressed the opinion that any assumptions about negative consequences are unfounded.

Nevertheless, considering that Solovyov works for state television and his statements may provoke tension between peoples, this causes bewilderment among citizens of friendly countries and sometimes requires strictness in response measures. Alagozov expressed hope that Solovyov's leadership will take appropriate measures," he wrote on social media.
