After recent statements by Solovyov regarding the possibility of conducting operations in Armenia, the Armenian Foreign Ministry summoned Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopyrkin to discuss the situation, reports Meduza.

In one of the broadcasts that took place a few days ago, Solovyov stated that Russia, like the United States in Venezuela, should ignore international law and consider the use of force in Armenia and several Central Asian countries to maintain its influence.

Solovyov noted: "For us, what is happening in Armenia is much more painful than what is happening in Venezuela. The loss of Armenia is a gigantic problem. […] To hell with international law, with the international order. If we needed to start a special military operation in Ukraine for our national security, then why, based on the same considerations, can't we start a special military operation in other points of our sphere of influence?"

In response to these words, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported that a note of protest was delivered to the ambassador, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the statements made on the state television channel. The Armenian Foreign Ministry emphasized that such remarks contradict the spirit of friendship between Yerevan and Moscow.
