On January 4, Donald Trump stated that the United States may take additional measures against other countries following actions in Venezuela. He mentioned Colombia, making threats against its president, and characterized Cuba as a "ready trap." Additionally, he confirmed his intention to control Greenland, reports The New York Times.

Let us remind you that on the night of January 3, powerful explosions were heard in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. Venezuela accused the U.S. of military aggression. On the same day, Trump also stated that Nicolás Maduro and his wife had been detained and left the country. U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau added that Maduro would face an American court.
