In an interview with Axios, he also noted that the United States offered Ukraine security guarantees for a period of 15 years, with the possibility of extending these commitments.
Trump, for his part, expressed confidence in the high chances of reaching agreements at the meeting in an interview with Politico, but added that he viewed the Ukrainian peace plan with some skepticism, emphasizing that without his approval, "nothing will happen" for Zelensky.
