The president also added that he is not sure how exactly the conflict will end and preferred not to delve into the details of the comparison.
He noted: "Let's see what happens. We are trying to figure out if a deal is possible. I think it will become clear soon," Trump explained.
According to CNN, amid active diplomatic efforts related to the U.S. peace plan consisting of 28 points for resolving the conflict, the White House administration announced this week that it is unwilling to participate in negotiations if they are deemed ineffective.
Earlier, Trump mentioned a phone conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the situation in Ukraine was discussed. He also reported an invitation for U.S. representatives to a meeting in Europe scheduled for the end of the week.
