After recent comments by Vladimir Solovyov regarding the possibility of a military operation in Armenia, Russia's ambassador to the country, Sergey Kopyrkin, was summoned to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by Meduza.

In his broadcast a few days ago, Solovyov stated that Russia should follow the example of the United States in Venezuela and disregard international law, considering the possibility of military intervention in the affairs of Armenia and Central Asia to keep these regions within its "sphere of influence."

The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned such statements, emphasizing that they contradict the spirit of friendly relations between Yerevan and Moscow.
