According to the directive of President Sadyr Japarov, fixed prices for domestic air transportation will be established in 2026, which will be lower than market prices. The difference in the cost of air tickets will be covered by funds from the Stabilization Fund.
Presidential spokesperson Askat Alagozov emphasized: “The government is taking on part of the costs, which allows us to abandon the previous market model, where ticket prices depended on the season and demand, making flights inaccessible for many citizens,” he detailed.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Airports OJSC reported that all routes indicated in the table will receive subsidies, as they are considered new and socially significant.
“At the moment, it is necessary to focus on these routes, especially to Talas, Naryn, Osh, and Karakol. Although other routes are also in demand, prices will be subsidized for them as well,” the press service added.

Fixed tariffs will remain unchanged, and there are no plans to increase them. Benefits for certain categories of citizens will also remain, and pensioners will be able to receive a 10% discount.
The airport clarified that expanding the network of domestic flights is practically impossible, as there are 11 airports operating in the country, and flights are conducted to all destinations.

Meanwhile, the Bishkek - Osh and Bishkek - Manas routes remain the most popular in the country. Passenger traffic on these routes is consistently high, and demand significantly exceeds the capacity of a single airline.
“In this regard, subsidizing tariffs on these routes is not feasible. Lowering prices by one carrier could negatively impact the market and create unequal conditions for other airlines,” the press service added.

Additionally, Asman Airlines currently does not have sufficient resources to fully service the passenger traffic on these routes. Therefore, it is important to maintain a competitive environment and the participation of several carriers, which will help ensure stability and accessibility of air travel for passengers.
