In Talas, the construction of the 'Akyilman' lyceum, which will accommodate 920 students, is actively ongoing. This was reported by the local mayor's office.

Today, the Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, conducted a working visit during which she familiarized herself with the current state of the construction site.

The project includes a modern three-story building with a dormitory, meeting all contemporary standards for education. The implementation of this educational institution is supported by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and involves sponsorship from Bolot Abildaev, the head of the company 'Gazprom Kyrgyzstan'.

The 'Akyilman' lyceum is expected to be commissioned in August 2026. "Education here will be free, and talented students will be able to receive an education not only from the Talas region but also from other regions of the country," the mayor's office reported.
