The translation of the epic was carried out by Ibrahim Abduvaliev, a professor at the Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov.
An agreement on the translation of national epics into different languages was signed in 2013-2014 between Kyrgyzstan and Bashkortostan. As part of this agreement, the epic "Ural-Batyr" was translated into Kyrgyz, while the Kyrgyz epic "Manas" was translated into Bashkir.
In addition, in May 2025, Bashkir University named after M. Akmulla received the rights to publish translations of these two epics.
