


On January 16, in Lake Issyk-Kul, employees of the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service conducted a raid.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Nature, during the event, an old synthetic net of Chinese manufacture, 400 meters long, was found and removed, which had been used for illegal purposes. This net could have caused significant harm to the fish stocks in the region.
The main objective of the raid is to prevent illegal fishing, protect aquatic biological resources, and ensure the ecological sustainability of Lake Issyk-Kul.
