
In the Issyk-Kul region, an initiative was carried out to feed the wintering white swans, as reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to official data, inspectors from the ecological service of the Issyk-Kul regional administration conducted this initiative to protect wildlife and local avifauna along the shores of Issyk-Kul.
During the winter period, when natural food sources for swans are significantly reduced, the main task became ensuring them a stable and safe food supply.
“This initiative is aimed at preserving the population of white swans and maintaining ecological balance in the region,” the ministry's statement emphasizes.
