Lake Issyk-Kul Cleared of 1100 Meters of Poacher Nets

On January 4, raids were conducted in the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul, organized by inspectors from the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of the Ecological and Technical Supervision Service in collaboration with the eco-tourism police.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Nature, measures were taken during the operation against illegal fishing, which allowed for the removal of old synthetic fishing nets totaling 1,100 meters in length from the water bodies.

The agency stated that raid activities to combat poaching will continue.
