In the Bakai-Ata District, a man was fined 12,500 soms for shooting a partridge

On December 24, raids were conducted in the Bakai-Ata district organized by inspectors from the Talas Regional Department of the Ecological Supervision Service in collaboration with representatives of the Bakai-Ata District Police Department. The purpose of the event was to prevent violations in the field of environmental protection.

According to information from the Ecological Supervision Service, during the inspections, a case was recorded where a local resident, S. u. M., was hunting without the necessary permits. He used a 16-gauge shotgun with the number №ХН 7773 and killed one partridge.

The man was fined 12,500 soms under Article 263 of the Code of Offenses, which pertains to violations of hunting regulations. In addition, he was sued for 2,000 soms for damage caused to wildlife.

For further investigation, the hunting weapon was temporarily seized by the local police department staff.

During the raids, there was also monitoring of illegal harvesting and sale of Christmas trees, tree cutting, compliance with hunting rules for wild animals, as well as prevention of illegal fishing.
