The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has made changes to the procedure for the internal qualification selection of candidates for participation in competitions for vacant positions in the Eurasian Economic Commission. This resolution aims to optimize the process of staffing for the EAEU bodies.

According to the new rules, meetings of the competition commission will be held as needed, unlike the previous procedure, which required them to take place at least once every six months. The minimum number of candidates for selection has also been reduced — now at least 20 people are required instead of 30.

Changes have been made to the composition of the competition commission. It now includes representatives from the president's administration, as well as authorized bodies on issues of state and municipal service, foreign policy, justice, finance, and national security.

The document introduces a limitation on the participation of the same person in the qualification selection for the positions of director or deputy director of the EEC department — no more than two consecutive times. It also clearly outlines the grounds for the absence of commission members at meetings, as well as the possibility of holding meetings and interviews via videoconferencing.

The rules for decision-making by the competition commission, conducting computer testing, and actions in case none of the candidates scored the required number of points in the selection have been clarified.

The new rules will come into effect in ten days.
