A working meeting took place in Moscow, where representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan familiarized themselves with the activities of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia. The delegation was headed by Asel Kenenbaeva, Deputy Minister, while the Russian side was represented by Konstantin Savenkov, Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor.
The agenda included studying the information systems used by Rosselkhoznadzor for veterinary and phytosanitary control. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the Russian experience in the digitalization of state control and to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the agencies of the two countries.
The Kyrgyz delegation expressed interest in the existing information systems of Rosselkhoznadzor. This will assist them in developing and implementing their own national digital solutions. In particular, attention was paid to the federal state information system "VetIS" and the practice of electronic registration of veterinary and phytosanitary certificates.
Konstantin Savenkov presented information on digital technologies, including elements of artificial intelligence, and explained the principles of operation of information systems in veterinary surveillance.
The next stage of familiarization with the Russian experience involves field events. Over two days, veterinary specialists from Kyrgyzstan will visit the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIZZh" in Vladimir, where they will be introduced to the operation of the "VetIS" system and other interrelated components that form a unified information environment for veterinary control.
Specialists in phytosanitary control will also learn about the use of digital solutions and the process of electronic registration of phytosanitary documents at the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VGNI" in Bykovo.
The knowledge and experience gained will be applied to further develop the veterinary and phytosanitary control system in Kyrgyzstan, as well as to improve cooperation with Russia in the field of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex.
