Digitalization in the Veterinary Industry: the "Sanarip VET" System
In the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry is implementing a week-long information campaign dedicated to automated information systems.
According to the ministry, there are 35 different information systems operating in the country, of which 22 have already been fully activated, and 10 are in the process of development. As part of this campaign, the automated system "Sanarip VET" has been presented, which is used by the Veterinary Service, Animal Husbandry, Pastures, and Feed.
The "Sanarip VET" system is actively used for monitoring the movement of animal products. It facilitates data exchange between the central office of the service, its territorial subdivisions, and veterinary control points at the country's borders.
This system is integrated with the state services "Tündük" and the Unified Identification System (UIS), allowing for the verification of all electronic documents using an electronic digital signature.
As of today:
— the "Sanarip VET" system operates at all border veterinary points and regional offices;
— specialists and inspectors actively use the system in their daily activities;
— all animals and animal products imported into the Kyrgyz Republic must be registered in this system;
— veterinary documents, including certificates and inspection acts, are issued in electronic format through the system.
Previously, the issuance of veterinary documents was carried out only in paper form; however, electronic issuance is now available, including:
* 4 types of veterinary certificates valid within the EAEU;
* 49 types of veterinary certificates for goods imported from third countries.
The main task of the "Sanarip VET" system is to ensure the identification and control of products subject to veterinary supervision, as well as to strengthen the fight against counterfeit products within the country and to enhance food security for the population.
