- The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has announced the launch of a pilot operation of an automated information system (AIS) designed for processing applications for tariff quotas for the import of certain types of meat, reports the press service of the ministry.

This system has been developed with the aim of transitioning the management of tariff quotas to a digital format. This innovation is expected to increase the transparency of the process, reduce the time for processing applications, and diminish the impact of the human factor.

Suppliers will be able to register online at the portal quota.agro.gov.kg, submit electronic applications, track their status, and receive notifications at their email addresses.

The automated system provides for electronic acceptance and verification of applications, automatic reconciliation with data from the Ministry of Justice's registries, distribution of quotas among new and existing suppliers, as well as online monitoring of import volumes and report generation.

The ministry emphasized that the implementation of this system will contribute to the transition to a paperless document flow and improve business trust in the state quota allocation process.
