As a result of the accident, a child was injured
On January 23, 2026, at the 36th kilometer of the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart highway, located in the Issyk-Ata district of the Chui region, an accident occurred in which one person died. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to preliminary data, the driver of a Hyundai Solaris lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, and crashed into a tree. As a result of the accident, one woman died, while two other women and one girl were injured.
Rescuers from the district department No. 4 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene, where they extracted the victims and the body of the deceased from the vehicle, after which they handed them over to the ambulance team. Currently, work is underway to establish the identities of the participants in the accident and to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
