He also characterized the increase in maternal mortality as "a serious signal for making management decisions" and ordered the need to develop a comprehensive set of measures as soon as possible - within a week. The minister highlighted the importance of reviewing antenatal care standards with a focus on quality, integrating primary care with hospitals, and strict routing of pregnant women, especially those from high-risk groups. In addition, the minister emphasized the need to enhance telemedicine consultations and implement prenatal screening.
The priority should be to prevent complications, ensure timely hospitalization, and provide access to qualified medical care.Key tasks for 2026 have been identified as reducing maternal and infant mortality.
