In April of this year, the launch of a new international flight route between Osh and Kashgar is expected, which will significantly improve air communication between Kyrgyzstan and China. This information was provided by the press service of JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan".
Recently, a meeting was held with representatives of the Chinese aircraft manufacturing company COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China), during which opportunities for developing bilateral aviation cooperation were discussed.
One of the central topics of discussion was the opening of the new Osh — Kashgar route, which is planned to be launched in April 2026.
This flight aims to improve transportation accessibility between the two countries, as well as to develop their trade, economic, tourism, and humanitarian ties.
During the meeting, it was noted that COMAC is a shareholder of Chengdu Airlines, which actively uses aircraft of its own production. Flights on the Osh — Kashgar route are expected to be operated using COMAC C909 aircraft.

JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" considers this project an important step towards expanding the international route network and strengthening partnerships with leading airlines in China.
The company continues to actively work on expanding the geography of flights and improving the quality of aviation services for both citizens and businesses in Kyrgyzstan.
