In accordance with the adopted decision, the charter of the academy was approved, as well as the provisions for the coordination council, which will engage in fundamental and applied research in the field of science and innovative technologies, as well as the rules for the selection of members of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (NAN KR).
Moreover, the requirement to prepare two reports has been introduced: an annual national science report for the president and an annual report on scientific achievements for the cabinet of ministers.
The rules for the election of academy members have also been clarified, including qualification requirements, age limits, and measures of academic responsibility.The message notes that provisions concerning the code of ethics for academy staff and strategies for preventing conflicts of interest in scientific and administrative activities have been introduced.
