According to the Press Center of the Ministry of Health, during the meeting, several key topics were addressed. These included the development of primary healthcare, enhancing human resources capacity, digitization of healthcare, preparedness for emergencies, as well as issues related to antimicrobial resistance and mental health.
It was also noted that the recommendations and technical expertise provided by WHO are actively applied in Kyrgyzstan in the creation of national programs and relevant legal acts in the field of healthcare.
Kanbek Dosmambetov emphasized the importance of the cooperation strategy with WHO for the period 2024-2030, which will serve as a foundation for planning joint activities, highlighting the need for its adaptation in accordance with the current priorities and tasks of the healthcare system.
In addition, the participation of Kyrgyzstan in international and national health events was discussed, where the country intends to actively engage.
