The increase in the number of residents creates new challenges for government structures
Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating a noticeable growth in its population, according to the latest data from the National Statistical Committee. By the end of 2025, the number of permanent residents in the country will reach nearly 7.4 million people. Over the course of a year, the population has grown by 1.5%, which significantly exceeds the average indicators of several countries in the Eurasian region.
A characteristic feature of this growth is its natural nature: the increase in population is not due to migration, but rather high birth rates. This growth presents important tasks for the government, including the need to expand social infrastructure, create new jobs, and actively integrate youth into the economic life of the country, which is becoming increasingly younger.
