According to the latest decree, document No. 388 "On Measures to Improve the Efficiency of Organizing Technical Inspections of Vehicles" dated December 31, there has been a change: it is specified that "the state enterprise 'Technical Center of the Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic'" is replaced by "the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Driver Personnel under the Administration of the President."
It is important to note that the accreditation certificates for the technical inspection of vehicles and for the issuance of safety certificates for structures, which were previously issued to controlling bodies and laboratories by the Kyrgyz Accreditation Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, remain valid until July 1. During this time, the institution will not extend the validity periods or issue new accreditation certificates for vehicle technical inspections.
