The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned about the spread of fake information on the internet

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported the presence of fake information being spread on the internet.

According to information provided by the MIA press service, fake videos have appeared online, allegedly from government officials and representatives of law enforcement agencies, claiming that citizens of Kyrgyzstan can earn from 60,000 to 150,000 soms per week through some investment platform.

“These video materials were created using artificial intelligence technologies and have no relation to reality. We emphasize that the information is false,” the agency warns.

The MIA strongly urges citizens to be vigilant, not to believe dubious offers of quick earnings, to avoid clicking on suspicious links, and not to disclose their personal data.

In addition, the agency has begun an investigation into the dissemination of false content, the results of which will provide a legal assessment of the situation.

We recommend trusting only verified information from official sources!
