A resident of the village of Shapak in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, Nurzat Shabdanbaeva works as a teacher at the secondary school named after J. Murzakmatov. She balances work, family, and community activities.

Nurzat Shabdanbaeva teaches the Kyrgyz language and literature. The teacher spoke about her achievements and plans. "For me, 2025 was fruitful. I participated in the 'Sanarip Mugalim' project and, together with my husband, went on vacation to Dubai. I can say that my dream of seeing another country came true. Many ask: how can a teacher with a small salary afford to take a vacation? Yes, the salary is also increased in April. Working as a teacher, one can also take a break. Many consider teachers to be a vulnerable category.

But being a successful teacher who raises an educated society is a requirement of the times. I actively participate in community life outside of school. Building a developed country is the duty of every citizen. I was a delegate from the district at the IV Kurultai and raised several issues concerning our region. Those who see my successes ask: 'How do you manage to handle home, work, and community affairs all at once?' My husband always supports me. It is not for nothing that they say you cannot make a mistake in choosing a profession and a life partner. Thank God, I love my work, and beside me is a husband who supports me and cares for our children," said Nurzat Shabdanbaeva.

She noted that she consciously chose the teaching profession and set high goals for herself from the very beginning.

"I grew up in the village of Mayak in the Tyup district. In 2009, after finishing school, I enrolled in the budget department of the philological faculty at the Issyk-Kul State University. Our group had strong students. We studied, worked, and actively participated in community life. I think it was then that the quality of being able to manage everything was formed. After classes, we prepared in the library, staged plays in the student theater, and learned to speak freely in front of people. At that time, I also read the works of our great poets and writers, spiritually enriching myself. Even now, I advise my children and students to read books, and I try to engage their interest. Children who read think more broadly and become successful people," she shared.

According to Nurzat Shabdanbaeva, she continues to learn even today. "After graduating from university, I worked as a teacher at Lyceum No. 12 in Bishkek. Then I worked at the teacher training courses under the Ministry of Education. Later, I moved to the village of Shapak and worked as the deputy director of the school for educational work.

With 12 years of teaching experience, I have come to realize that along with teaching, a person must constantly learn and develop. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in psychology. Because it is important not only to impart knowledge but also to understand the psychology of children, to raise them as educated individuals prepared for life in society — this is my duty both as a parent and as a teacher," she said.

For her achievements in the field of education, Shabdanbaeva has been recognized with several awards from local authorities. She is currently raising three children.
