The athletes will participate in the WKF ranking tournament in Fujairah
The national team of the capital, consisting of students from the SDYUSHOR 'Olymp', has departed for the international WKF karate-do competition, which will take place from February 11 to 16 in the city of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. This was reported by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Policy of the Bishkek City Hall.
Before their departure, the director of the department, Kanibek Zholchubekov, held a meeting with the young athletes, where he expressed his wishes for their successful performances at the tournament.
The tournament is an important global ranking event for youth, and participation from more than 70 countries is expected, making it one of the largest international competitions in this sport.
The financial support for the participation of the karatekas from Bishkek was provided by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Policy of the city hall.
