In Depot No. 1 of Bishkek, a ceremony took place where the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, handed over the keys to 95 new buses and 42 units of special equipment to the city's mayor, as reported by the government press service.

Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that this event is a significant step towards renewing public transport and improving the operation of city services. He noted that the Bishkek city hall continues to focus on the development of the city, improving the environmental situation, and creating comfortable conditions for its residents.

As part of the environmental initiative, over 17,000 trees have been planted in the city, and green zones have been expanded. Additionally, a modern eco-technology plant has been launched, which is engaged in the disposal of solid household waste and the production of electricity.

New kindergartens and schools have been built in the city, as well as underground passages, creating safe and convenient conditions for residents. All these activities are being carried out by the Bishkek city hall systematically and purposefully.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also noted that work on equipping municipal enterprises will continue. He urged city services to handle the new equipment responsibly and to improve the quality of service to the population.

“Each new vehicle and piece of equipment is a valuable resource for the city's residents. Their careful use and justifying the trust of citizens is the duty of each of you,” he added, noting that the new buses and special equipment will be an important support in the development of the city, improving the work of municipal services and expanding their capabilities.

The 12-meter Youtong buses were purchased as part of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development program, while the 42 units of special equipment, including emergency vehicles, dump trucks, hydraulic cranes, and trench vibratory rollers, were acquired with funds from the republican budget.
