









The opening of the updated depot No. 1 took place in Bishkek as part of an excursion program organized by the mayor's office under the leadership of Mayor Aibek Junushaliev for the delegates of the IV People's Kurultai. The press service of the mayor's office reported this event.
The new facility is located at: 237 Moscow Street. The depot was built in 1951, and after recent reconstruction, it now represents a modern complex for the storage, maintenance, and repair of buses and electric buses. The total area is 3.5 hectares, and the built-up area is 3,659.6 square meters.
The depot is designed to service up to 130 units of rolling stock simultaneously, including 70 buses and 60 electric buses. The repair area is equipped with six repair pits, allowing for current repairs and maintenance (TO-1 and TO-2).
The modern charging infrastructure for electric buses includes 32 charging units, of which 11 are high-power stations of 300 kW, and 21 are 120 kW. There is also a washing area for rolling stock and an administrative and household building on the premises.
The depot is integrated into the automated traffic management system of the city mayor's office, ensuring centralized control and efficient management of routes.
The update of the depot contributes to the development of environmentally friendly public transport, reduces operating costs, and improves the quality of passenger service.
