Each bus is designed for 70 passengers
According to the city administration, 95 new buses have arrived in Bishkek from China.
The buses are located at depot-1. Each bus is 12 meters long and equipped with three doors. Air conditioning operates in the buses during the summer, while heating systems are available in the winter. They can accommodate up to 70 passengers.
In the past three years, around 1,000 new gas buses have been delivered to the capital, replacing three thousand old minibuses on passenger routes. The municipality has also acquired 120 electric buses and installed 85 charging stations, as well as upgraded bus depots No. 1 and No. 2.
About 3,500 people work in the public transport sector, including 2,500 drivers.
