The City Hall held a board meeting where the results of work in the field of construction and improvement of road infrastructure for 2025 were summarized.
According to information from the department, this year the reconstruction of the "Alga" sports complex was completed, which improved conditions for sports activities and competitions. A small arena with 5,000 seats was also built at the D. Omurzakov Stadium, and the pedestal for "Manas" in the central Ala-Too square underwent reconstruction. A new exhibition gallery opened in the Cholpon Tuleberdiev Park, and a monument to Nüzüp Minbashi was installed at the roundabout intersection of B. Alykulov and J. Baatyr streets.
In the field of education, a school for 650 students was built in the "Ak-Bata" residential area with funds from the republican budget, and capital repairs and construction of seven preschool institutions with a total capacity of 1,200 places were completed.
Additionally, a new state archive opened on Mesaroša Street and a library in the "Kolmo" residential area.
Regarding healthcare, two Family Medicine Centers were opened in the "Kok-Jar" and "Chon-Aryk" residential areas, each equipped with modern equipment and an ambulance station.
As part of a comprehensive program to improve the city's street and road network, capital repairs were carried out on 147 streets. The renewal of roads affected 122 streets, with a total length of 91.9 km, and sidewalks were repaired on 25 streets with a length of 28.2 km.
The construction of two bridges on Shukurova and Auezova streets has been completed, and work continues on the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue, which is 70% ready. These projects will significantly improve the city's transport connectivity. Additionally, an underground pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Ch. Aitmatov Avenue and Minzhilkiyev Street has been completed.
