The inspections were organized as part of the implementation of the order from the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, issued on February 13, 2025, number 01-12/04, which concerns the establishment of maximum prices for meat products (beef and lamb, excluding boneless meat) in Bishkek.
The raid group also included Mirlan Amangeldiev, the head of the municipal administration of the Sverdlovsk district, representatives of the antimonopoly service, and employees of the veterinary service of Bishkek.
During the inspections, the main focus was on the following aspects:
- preventing unjustified price increases for meat products;
- availability of documents confirming the quality and origin of the meat;
- compliance with sanitary norms and trading regulations.
Traders were provided with explanations about the importance of adhering to the requirements of legislation and established price norms.
The city administration noted that such raids are aimed at maintaining price stability for key products and protecting consumer rights. Monitoring of the situation in the food markets of the capital will continue.
