Discussions at the meeting focused on reconstruction and humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip, as well as the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the region.
In his address, Shavkat Mirziyoyev thanked Donald Trump for organizing the summit, emphasizing that Uzbekistan supports the peacekeeping initiative to establish the Council for Peace and is ready to actively participate in its implementation.

The President noted that any governance mechanism for Gaza must be based on support from the local population. He expressed confidence that the joint efforts of all participants would help achieve a sustainable post-conflict process and create conditions for the rapid recovery of the region.
The head of state declared Uzbekistan's readiness to make a significant contribution to the construction of residential complexes, kindergartens, educational institutions, and medical facilities in the Gaza Strip.
“Our meeting symbolizes international solidarity and the desire for peace, as well as a common wish to improve the situation in the Middle East. We must seize this unique opportunity to create a new Gaza with a developing economy and decent living conditions,” he said.
During his working visit to Washington, President Mirziyoyev also held a series of meetings with business leaders. During negotiations with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Latnik, specific steps to strengthen the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States were discussed, as well as the development of cooperation in key sectors.
The parties noted that the U.S. is one of Uzbekistan's main partners: trade between the countries exceeds $1 billion, and about 340 American companies operate in Uzbekistan. The need for active use of the new Business Council and the creation of an investment platform to support targeted projects was discussed.
The President of Uzbekistan also met with representatives of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and the International Finance Corporation to discuss further cooperation.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited American partners to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum and attended the signing of bilateral agreements and the presentation of joint projects. The agreements concern the construction of gas stations, the implementation of sprinkler irrigation technologies, the extraction and supply of essential minerals, the creation of a poultry cluster, the development of the agro-industrial complex and financial markets, as well as the improvement of the investment climate.
