In their statement, 21 individuals indicated that from January 5 to 16, they worked on the construction of a multi-story building being erected by the State Mortgage Company.
Employees of the institute reviewing the case found that the construction of this residential complex had previously been handled by another organization, which did not complete the project and withdrew from it. As a result, the project was handed over to a new company.
After the Ombudsman's intervention, the current contractor agreed to consider the possibility of employing local residents if they have the relevant experience and qualifications.
At the beginning of February, the applicants reported that they were re-employed and expressed gratitude to the Ombudsman for the assistance provided.
