The winners of the British Academy Film Awards have been announced. A film about Putin is among them.

The 79th British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards ceremony took place in London. The main favorite of the evening was the film "Battle for Battle," which won six awards.

This film was recognized as the best film and received awards for outstanding direction, which went to Paul Thomas Anderson, as well as for best supporting actor, awarded to Sean Penn. Additionally, Michael Bauman was honored for his cinematography.

Robert Aramayo, the star of the series "Game of Thrones," was named best actor for his role in the biographical drama "I Am Cursing," which also won the award for best casting.

In the category of "Best Actress," Jessie Buckley won for her work in the film "Hamnet: The Story that Inspired 'Hamlet'."

The documentary "Mr. Nobody vs. Putin," co-created by Pavel Talankin and David Borenstein, was recognized for best documentary work. It examines the changes that occurred in the Russian educational process after the onset of the invasion of Ukraine, under the influence of state propaganda.

The film "Sentimental Value" by director Joachim Trier was named best foreign film, while Disney's "Zootopia 2" became the best animated film. The award for best visual effects went to the film "Avatar: Flame and Ash."
